Like the saying goes, ‘If you’ve got it flaunt it’. But sometimes even when you don’t have it, you have to flaunt it as may be the case for actress, Yvonne Nelson. The sexy actress revealed at the just ended 4syte Music Video Awards that she doesn’t wear bras because her boobs are not big enough.

She made the revelation after Bola Ray pointed out that it was true what the rumours say about Yvonne dressing without bra.

The incident happened right after the actress for the umpteenth time rubbished claims that she has bleached her skin.

Sarkodie has proven that his influence in the music industry in Ghana and Africa cannot go unrecognised.

The rapper beat fellow heavy weight artistes to win the enviable title ‘Most Influential Artiste’ at the recently held 4Syte Music Video Awards.

Recently described as a ‘Beast of rapper’ by one of Ghana’s most respected veteran rappers, Obrafour, Sarkodie came out with his very successful Sarkology album in 2013.

The album, which has 30 tracks on it featured some of Africa’s most celebrated singers and rappers including Tiwa Savage, Davido, Fuse ODG, Raquel and Stonebwoy.

It was all buzz and gratitude at the Accra International conference Centre as Ghana’s most hardworking musicians got rewarded for their efforts at the 4syte Music Video Awards held Saturday November 15.

The “Best Rapper” Edem took home three awards - Best Photography, Best Directed Video, Most Outstanding Video, out of 7 nominations.

VVIP also won Best Choreography and Best Group.

Other award winners include MzVee – Best Discovery and Shatta Wale who also took home two awards – Most Popular Video and Best Reggae/Dancehall Video.
The Master of Ceremony of the event, Kwabena Anokye Adisi aka Bola Ray was large and in charge as always.

Rising act, Wiyaala, last night launched her debut album at Alliance Francaise in Accra.

The well-attended event saw her perform all 13 songs from the album, as well as a selection of compositions from some of Africa’s biggest acts of the years.

Former Fugees member, Lauryn Hill, is heading to Ghana next month for a concert.

BET President Stephen Hill said in a media statement yesterday Nov. 14th that 106 and Park will air its last episode December 19, 2014, and that the show would become "digital only."

Maurice Ampaw, the Accra-based Lawyer who has been in the news lately for the wrong reasons, is back at it again.

In a new video posted online by musician/comedian, A Plus – the man he has supposedly sued for defamation – he is seen attesting to the fact that the whole brouhaha has somewhat made him popular.

Ampaw is suing A Plus for some 1 million Cedis for what he says were defamatory remarks he made about him on the social network site Facebook, where he called him ‘dumb’ in a post on the missing musician, Castro.

Preacher and Motivational Speaker Dr Myles Munroe, founder and leader of the Bahamas Faith Ministries died Sunday in his homeland when a private jet containing himself, his wife, and seven others crashed, killing all on board.

The Bahamas Tribune reports local authorities have confirmed the deaths, which occurred when the jet was making a landing approach to the Grand Bahama International Airport ; the plane struck a crane at the Grand Bahama ship yard, crashing into the ground and exploding on impact.

Ghanaians would particularly remember Dr Munroe because he was in the country barely two years ago, during which he addressed several workshops and seminars in his frank, no-nonsense yet motivational style.

Edem Set to launch ‘Books N Rhymes’ album, November 12

Edem’s highly anticipated album titled “Books N Rhymes” launches in Accra, on Wednesday, November 12 at Holiday Inn.

It’s a carefully crafted 25-track album which cuts across Afrobeats, Dancehall & HipHop. The album features African music heavyweights like Ice Prince, M. I, Cassper Nyovest, Sway, Samini and more.

The corporate launch would have in attendance business parties and companies as well as some notable celebrities from the sub-region.

Edem who granted an interview to Akwasi Sarpong of BBC Africa on the album says
“Books and Rhymes are the basis of human’s life. Books are what takes us through life, takes us to the greatest of places, gives us power and knowledge; and rhymes are the basis of our childhood where you are taught to learn twinkle, twinkle little star etc to be able to speak properly.

Ghanaian rapper, Joey B will be the star performer at the Big Brother Hotshots live eviction show this Sunday. He is expected to fly out to Johannesburg on Saturday evening with his ‘sidekick’ and one of the biggest discoveries of the year, Pappykojo.

Together the two have already produced two hot bangers, ‘Wave’ and ‘Realer No’, which have become anthems for the youths of Ghana. Which song will they perform together on Sunday and will they manage to wow BBA fans across the continent?

Actress Christabel Ekeh ones again was looking stunning last night at the premiere of 'FAMILY ALBUM' in which she played 'OPERA' and a very important role in the star-stubbed movie.

A very long time ago, Raquel became a victim of wardrobe mishap but what she lost was far more than money, her career hasn’t been the same since the incident.

Former MUSIGA President, Alhaji Sidiku Buari, has been tricked into handing over his Toyota Rav4 Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) to a stranger on Monday.

The stranger is known to have driven off after he tricked Mr Buari into giving him a test drive.

News-One gathered that Alhaji Buari had advertised that his Rav4 was for sale and soon after had phone calls from several prospective buyers including a man who said he was calling from Tema and was sending his auto mechanic ahead to see the car and test its condition.

When the said ‘mechanic’ arrived at Alhaji Sidiku’s place, both of them decided to go on a test drive while they negotiated the price of the car and discussed other related matters.

Award‐winning rapper Sarkodie has commended his Ghanaian fans for remaining loyal to his brand throughout the years.

Sarkodie, who put up a marvellous performance at the ‘Tigo Music Unplugged’ concert over the weekend, stated that he was overwhelmed by how his fans cheer, listen to his music and even fight for him when issues about him come up.

“Ghanaians made me who I am today. You guys are the best. The way some of you even fight for me when issues about me come up is touching,” he stated after his performance at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The ‘Adonai’ singer also commended organisers of the ‘Tigo Music Unplugged’ concert for putting together a massive crowd of music lovers for the show.

Following Kaakie’s sterling performance last night at Kojo Antwi’s “Legends And Legacy Ball” there’s been a lot of comments. As Management, we really appreciate the feedback and love from the fans, as always.

But trending comparisons between Kaakie and the other girls (doing the same genre as her) is totally inaccurate. Xtra Large Music as a label (and its signed acts) is in competition with nobody.

An Accra Fast Track Court has adjourned to November 13 the case involving Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale and event outfit Charter House after he filed a motion for an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).

The artiste, born Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr, during the first hearing on October 19 made a plea for an out-of-court settlement in a GH¢10 million defamatory suit Charter House brought against him.

The events outfit and its CEO, Mr. Iyiola Ayoade, CEO, sued the reigning Ghana Music Awards Artiste of the Year over a series of what they said are defamatory videos he released on social media site, Facebook.

Shatta Wale is seeking an out-of-court settlement in the case.

At the first hearing, counsel for the plaintiffs, Mr Egbert Faibille Jnr., moved a motion for interlocutory injunction seeking to restrain Shatta Wale from further uploading and making defamatory comments about the plaintiffs.

On November 15, the bubbly lady is scheduled to premiere the movie in Sunyani with a lot of expectations.

Last week the movie premiered in Kumasi where it had a good patronage. On that trip were Funny Face, Akorfa Ejeani Asiedu, Lydia and others.

The Sunyani premiere is expected to host other top stars who are yet to be confirmed. However sources whispered to NEWS-ONE that Deborah Vanessa is one of the few names who will be joining the cast.

Founder of the Christian Action Faith Ministries, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams has finally responded to actress Lydia Forson’s marriage proposal saying he is “already taken.”
The actress in a witty and sarcastic letter to the Archbishop asked if she could marry him.

Her request followed a comment the charismatic preacher made in Church on October 26, 2014 about marriage being a privilege for women.

According to him, women must see men’s love proposal and decision to marry them as a “privilege” admonishing them to be grateful to men if they choose to marry them, rather than misbehave.

Portions of Miss Forson's letter reads… “Can I marry you? I’m in dire need of validation and since the ratio of men to women is in your words “7:1″ I don’t want to be left behind. If you can’t marry me, give me one of the married men in your congregation. I will hold on to him like there’s no tomorrow.
