Renowned
American gospel musician, Cece Winans is set to light up the 2014
edition of the Airtel Adom Praiz on August 2nd at the Perez Dome in
Accra.
She will be supported by her counterpart Israel Houghton, a
Grammy Award-winning American Christian music artist, worship leader
and singer-songwriter.
He is mostly known for his cross-cultural style of Christian music that fuses elements from gospel, jazz and rock.
Both
American gospel artists will lead an array of local gospel artists
including Cecilia Marfo, Daughters of Glorious Jesus, Joe Mettle and No
Tribe to thrill patrons at the all-night long gospel fiesta of praise
and worship.
The award winning non-denominational annual gospel concert is aimed at bringing families and friends closer to God.
This
year’s event coincides with the fifth year anniversary of Adom Praiz,
and the organizers have promised to make it bigger and better.
Programmes
Director of Adom FM, Bismack Nana Apeanti, said they had learnt their
lessons from last year’s hiccups and would ensure they do not recur.
“This
year’s event will be a never to be forgotten praise experience; we have
learnt our lessons and will not repeat our past mistakes” he promised.
Nana Apeanti urged Ghanaians to come and experience the touch of the Lord Jesus Christ for His goodness. |
